Why choose a .TRAINING domain?

Every other word in this group aims at a qualification. This one aims at a competence — and usually at an obligation. Forklift, first aid, working at height, hazardous materials, renewing a professional ticket: nobody attends out of curiosity, they attend because the employer requires it or the card expires next month. That changes everything your site has to say: dates, duration, location, what they walk away with, and how long it stays valid.

The requirement

Statutory duty, industry standard, insurance condition. Say plainly which rule your course allows people to satisfy.

The certificate

What they receive, who recognises it, how long it lasts. A certificate with no stated validity worries people more than it reassures.

The schedule

Next dates, places left, on-site delivery. An employer plans staff release weeks ahead of time.

Online delivery

Self-paced study, invigilated assessment, practical elements in person. Be specific about what can be done remotely and what cannot.

The corporate buyer

Closed groups, per-head pricing, tracking a team’s certificates. Your buyer is a manager, not the learner: write for them too.

What it actually changes

• It aims at a competence, not a qualification. That is what separates it from .degree and .university, which both name academic recognition.
• The audience is often compelled. Somebody sent by their employer is looking for dates, not arguments.
• No registration restrictions. No training provider accreditation to show the registrar.
