Why choose a .NETWORK domain?

The word carries two entirely different senses, and that is harmless here. There is the technical network — cables, routers, fibre, firewalls — and the human one: people, contacts, professional support. Unlike .social, where the two senses fight for the same ground, these never meet: the contexts are so far apart that no visitor is ever confused. You inherit two markets without having to choose between them.

What it actually changes

• The two senses do not interfere. That is what separates it from .social, where the ambiguity forces a choice in the first sentence.
• The word is nearly identical in French. “Network” and “réseau” coexist without difficulty in local usage.
