Why choose a .GREEN domain?

We carry three colours. Black supplies a register, blue supplies a tone — green makes an assertion. Calling yourself green claims something about how you operate, and that claim gets checked. Environmental marketing claims are regulated in most markets, and greenwashing carries real penalties. So this is a suffix that commits you: excellent if you have the evidence, risky if you do not.

The claim

The word promises something about how you work. Unlike .black and .blue, it does not merely supply a tone.

The evidence

Certifications, measurements, methodology, what you have not yet fixed. Admitting the limits makes everything else far more credible.

Energy

Efficiency, retrofit, renewable generation, measured reduction. A sector where figures are verifiable and customers ask for them.

The product

Materials, packaging, lifespan, repairability, end of life. A repairable product says more than a whole page about your values.

Transport

Electric fleets, shared deliveries, the last mile. The most visible line in any footprint, and often the easiest to improve.

What it actually changes

• It is an assertion, not a tone. That is what separates it from .black and .blue, where the colour only set a register.
• The promise is legally regulated. Environmental claims must be substantiated: the suffix draws attention to yours.
• No registration restrictions. The registrar asks for no evidence — your customers and the regulators may well do.
• The word travels well. It is understood across languages without translation, which few claims manage.
