Why choose an .EMAIL domain?

Email is older than the web, and it has outlived it in every practical sense. Every platform that was going to replace it has come and gone; email stayed, because it belongs to no company and works between two systems that know nothing about each other. It is the only word in this technical family naming a channel rather than a tool — and it produces a pleasant construction: name@company.email states its purpose twice, which helps people remember it.

The channel

It works everywhere, with no account to create and no app to install. The one address everybody already has.

A list belongs to you; followers on a platform do not. That is the reason this channel refuses to disappear.

Deliverability

SPF, DKIM, DMARC, sender reputation. A legitimate message filed as spam costs more than one never sent.

Mailboxes, aliases, quotas, archiving, backup. A business changes its website every five years but keeps its addresses far longer.

The second domain

Many firms register this one purely for mail, keeping the site elsewhere. A short memorable address for correspondence, without touching the main brand.

What it actually changes

• It names a channel, not a tool. The only word in this family that does, and the only one predating the web.
• The address states its own purpose. name@company.email is understood without explanation, even out of context.
• No registration restrictions. No mail service to demonstrate to the registrar.
• It also serves as a secondary domain. Plenty of businesses register it for mailboxes alone and leave the site where it is.
