Why choose a .CONDOS domain?

On paper it is a strata unit, or a unit in a condominium corporation. In conversation nobody says that: they say “my condo”, “my daughter’s condo”, “the condos by the water”. The suffix takes the word people actually use rather than the one on the deed, and the plural points at a development or a whole building rather than a single unit for sale.

The new development

Phases, unit types, views, expected completion. Much of it sells off plan, a year or two before ground is broken: the site is where the project exists.

Prices by unit

Square footage, floor, aspect, parking included or not. Buyers compare unit by unit and want the table, not a “from” price.

Monthly fees

Maintenance fees, reserve fund, what is covered. The question that worries first-time buyers most, and explaining it plainly sets you apart immediately.

• It is the word your buyers use. “Condo” long ago replaced the legal term in everyday North American speech, and the address follows usage.
• The plural names the development, not the unit. That is what separates it from .apartments, which implies rented homes, and .house, which names one building.
